Another portrait of my grandmother, Imogene Huffman Shoemaker (L) and my great aunt Lavonne Huffman Jackson (Sabina, Clinton County, Ohio) circa 1910"Roots. That's a good word for it. Everybody's got a family tree and just to know how the roots grew, well that gives you a sense of who you are." spoken by Martha Corinne Walton, The Waltons, Episode 10, 1976

Lori,
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful collection of family pictures. So great to have pictures on your grandmother and great aunt at such a young age --- puts their lives in a different perspective.
I love this photograph! Look at their little innocent faces. Their cute dresses, bows, tights and of course those shoes make it so special and adorable. Thanks for sharing friend!
ReplyDeleteLove those bows! Such pretty girls. Thank yo for sharing. :)
